BECOME A FRIEND OF THE MUSEUM OR A VOLUNTEER

We are currently in need of extra volunteers especially in the following positions:

Cooking and food preparation for visitors

Assisting with morning teas & lunches  for group bookings

Administrative Duties    

If you would be interested in joining our team for as much or as little time as you have to spare we would love to hear from you.

As a volunteer you can be involved in a variety of different roles:

• Gardening

• Building Maintenance

• Tour Guide

• Assisting with group bookings for morning teas, lunches and bbqs.

• Admin and computer work

• Plant nursery

• Memorabilia restoration and preservation

• Setup and maintenance of Museum displays

• Cataloging of donated memorabilia

Help support the museum and Alison Homestead by becoming a Friend of the Museum:

• $15 single per annum
• $25 family per annum

Becoming a Friend of the Museum entitles you to free entry to the Museum for the year, membership of The Men’s Shed, our monthly newsletter, free entry to special events held at the Museum and insurance cover whilst on the job as a volunteer.
